What you actually do first
- Residential day 1 — Residential day 1 of 10. Arrival and orientation: hand in devices, learn the site, and accept the code of discipline before silence begins. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 2 — Residential day 2 of 10. The first full timetable day. Sitting is uncomfortable for almost everyone at this stage; the instruction is to keep the schedule, not to be good at it. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 3 — Residential day 3 of 10. Concentration practice continues. Sleep and hunger patterns usually shift around now. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 4 — Residential day 4 of 10. The technique proper is introduced today. Follow the assistant teacher exactly rather than anything you have read. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 5 — Residential day 5 of 10. Longer body-scanning work. Restlessness and doubt are common and expected here. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 6 — Residential day 6 of 10. Sittings of strong determination continue. Do not add intensity beyond the instruction. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.
- Residential day 7 — Residential day 7 of 10. The midpoint fatigue day for most students. Report pain, distress, or sleep loss to course staff. Observe the center’s timetable, code of discipline, noble silence, and teacher instructions offline.

When you miss
During the residential course, follow the assistant teacher and center timetable rather than app streaks. Leaving or modifying the course for safety is not failure.
Privacy and safety
Your proof, notes, conversations, and adaptation history stay private unless you deliberately share an action.
This is an intensive residential retreat with long meditation periods, silence, an early schedule, and limited device access. Disclose physical and mental-health needs honestly to the course organizers and follow their suitability and support process.
